Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo for the role of Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired between 2015 and present. Her previous role as a Lebanese American young woman Jasira which is a series of personal struggles amid the backdrop of U.S. invasion in Iraq during the Gulf War was featured in Alan Ball's film Towelhead. The film was later selected as one of Variety's 10 actors to watch in 2007. In 2009, she portrayed the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. In addition, she has appeared in films such as The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and has played several guest roles on television in addition to playing the co-lead in Lucky 7.
